AEGIC is integrating with Grains Australia to better support Australia’s grains customers and the Australian grains industry.
The AEGIC website will remain accessible in the short term; however, it will not be updated from 1 January 2026. As a result, some information on this site may be out of date.

A special industry briefing in May 2025 showcased how AEGIC delivers value across the grains value chain, providing Australian grain traders, industry organisations, and government representatives with a deeper understanding of what we do.
Held in Adelaide, the briefing was a chance to connect with the Australian grains industry and demonstrate how AEGIC delivers industry-good solutions through market support, insights and education.
AEGIC Executive General Manager Courtney Draper discussed AEGIC’s strategic focus, delivered through our functions of Insights and Engagement; Education and Training; Technical Market Solutions; and Analytical Support.
Senior Scientist Dr Siem Siah explained an AEGIC project High-value Australian hard noodle wheat for East Asia, while Dr Hemali Kanthilanka gave an overview of the power of AEGIC’s Grain Market Insights Portal. Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council (GLNC) General Manager Kathy La Macchia explained the role of GLNC and its strategic links with AEGIC.
The briefing followed a similar event in Melbourne in 2024. We look forward to delivering more briefings like this in the future.
