A series of AEGIC webinars has highlighted the quality and health benefits of Australian oats for customers in China, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
The June 2025 webinars were part of AEGIC’s Novel market solutions in oat processing and new product development, under the WA Government-supported Processed Oat Partnership (POP). The webinars were strongly supported by the oat industry and featured a range of industry speakers.
The educational webinars aimed to advocate for the use of Australian oats in new food products and health-conscious diets for established and potential Asian markets, as well as providing insights into global trends and opportunities.
The virtual events featured a diverse lineup of respected industry professionals:
- Dr Sabori Mitra, Senior Research Scientist – Oats, AEGIC
