The AEGIC Board congratulates departing Executive General Manager Courtney Draper on her appointment with the Australian Oilseeds Federation as AOF and Sustainability Manager.
AEGIC Chair Matt Macfarlane said Courtney had been an outstanding and caring leader during her time with AEGIC.
“Courtney should be proud of her achievements in leading the organisation during a complex period of transition,” Mr Macfarlane said.
“In just over two years, Courtney has managed the start of the integration process between Grains Australia and AEGIC, overseen the complex (and unexpected) relocation of AEGIC’s WA facilities, and delivered key industry outcomes from our Strategic Plan 2025-27, all while maintaining AEGIC’s suite of projects delivering value to the Australian grains industry.
“Backed by the very capable AEGIC team, Courtney has been a highly effective leader who brings a real human touch to everything she does. I’ll miss our discussions and the grace with which Courtney deals with management challenges. The AEGIC Board wishes Courtney all the very best in her new role, there are sure to be opportunities for future overlap which we all look forward to.”
During the process of integration between Grains Australia and AEGIC over the coming months, Mr Macfarlane will serve as Executive Chair of AEGIC. He will be working closely with the AEGIC Executive Management Team to ensure a smooth transition and continued momentum during this period.
