Integration of Grains Australia and AEGIC

AEGIC is integrating with Grains Australia to better support Australia’s grains customers and the Australian grains industry.

The AEGIC website will remain accessible in the short term; however, it will not be updated from 1 January 2026. As a result, some information on this site may be out of date.

We’re working towards a single, combined website in the near future.

Engaging with China’s feed grains industry (new project)

China requires a significant supply of feed grains for its growing swine herds. Australia is well-placed to supply more feed grains to China amid this ongoing demand.

In this Grains Australia project delivered by AEGIC, we are engaging with key Chinese feed mills and industry organisations to build technical relationships and stimulate demand for Australian feed grains, with a focus on swine.

This project aims to strengthen relationships, reduce information gaps, and identify mutually beneficial opportunities for China’s feed industry and Australian feed grains.

Scheduled (October-December 2025)

  • We will develop a roadmap of the Chinese feed industry, including the current status of Australia grains in the market.
