Integration of Grains Australia and AEGIC

AEGIC is integrating with Grains Australia to better support Australia’s grains customers and the Australian grains industry.

The AEGIC website will remain accessible in the short term; however, it will not be updated from 1 January 2026. As a result, some information on this site may be out of date.

We’re working towards a single, combined website in the near future.

To better support Australia’s grains customers and the wider industry, AEGIC is joining Grains Australia to form a single, stronger organisation.

This is a positive step for Australia’s grains industry and our customers worldwide.

By uniting AEGIC’s market insights and market education expertise with Grains Australia’s existing responsibility for these functions, as well as classification and trade and market access, the integration creates a single, more coordinated and efficient organisation, ensuring resources are focused where they deliver the greatest value for growers and customers.

What this means for AEGIC’s stakeholders

AEGIC’s trusted expertise and services will be enhanced within Grains Australia, and our relationships will be strengthened.

Our projects will be more targeted, efficient, and aligned with industry priorities.

With the key grains industry functions under one banner, stakeholders will find it easier and faster to get information and support, and contact points will be clearer.

When to expect changes

From 1 January 2026, we will start to transition away from the AEGIC name and brand. Communication that previously came from AEGIC will come from Grains Australia.

In January 2026, AEGIC email addresses will change to [email protected].

The AEGIC website will remain functional in the short term.

AEGIC’s newsletters will stop being distributed in their current format, but we are excited to continue sharing our insights and updates as part of new and improved Grains Australia newsletters in 2026.

Thank you for your patience as we continue the process of integrating Grains Australia and AEGIC.
